Domsilo ("we", "us") operates a monthly web-traffic index covering roughly 340 million domains. This policy explains what personal data we collect from visitors and customers, why, and the rights you have over it. Contact: [email protected].
Contract performance (providing your account and subscription); legitimate interest (security, product analytics, service emails); consent (marketing emails — withdrawable in one click); legal obligation (tax and accounting records for invoices).
We use a small set of first-party cookies and localStorage keys: session authentication, theme preference, and interface settings (e.g. the Keywords toggle). There is no third-party advertising cookie on this site.
We share data only with processors needed to run the service: Creem and Stripe (payments), our hosting provider (infrastructure), Google (sign-in), and our email provider (transactional emails). Each is bound by a data-processing agreement. We disclose data to authorities only when legally compelled and will notify you unless prohibited.
Account data is kept while your account exists and deleted within 30 days of account deletion, subject to legal and dispute-preservation duties. Invoices are kept for the legally required accounting period. Checkout consent and billing-incident records are retained for 24 months; detailed CSV evidence for 180 days; raw payment webhook payloads for 90 days; and generated evidence bundles for 30 days. Evidence for an open case is retained until the case closes. Aggregate, non-personal statistics may be kept indefinitely.
Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR and CCPA), you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of processing, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email [email protected] — we respond within 30 days and never discriminate for exercising rights. EU/UK users may lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority.
Domsilo indexes publicly accessible websites and models traffic estimates about websites, not individuals. If you operate a website and have questions about its listing, or want to submit a correction, contact [email protected]. Our crawler respects robots.txt.
Data in transit is encrypted with TLS; access is role-restricted and logged. Sign-in is delegated to Google — we hold no passwords. If a breach affects your personal data we will notify you without undue delay.
Where data crosses borders we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Domsilo is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
